The Lotus LTS 1575 M / 1600 M / 1675 M / 1800 M XXL Membrane Heat Press Series is an industrial large-format platform engineered for applications where exceptionally even, precisely controlled pressure is required across oversized materials. Available with dual work areas ranging from 150 x 75 cm up to 180 x 100 cm, these presses are designed for large-format sublimation, lamination, technical textiles, smart textiles, electronic components, rigid media, and advanced industrial transfer applications.

Unlike a conventional pneumatic heat press that applies pressure using a rigid lower platen, the LTS M Series uses an air-inflated flexible rubber membrane. During the pressing cycle, the membrane inflates beneath the material and pushes it upward against the heated platen. Because the membrane can conform to variations in the surface, it helps provide consistent pressure across substrates with different heights and thicknesses—including complex assemblies and electronic components.

Each machine features two extractable lower workstations. While one platen is inside the press completing a transfer or lamination cycle, the second can be loaded and prepared for the next job. This alternating dual-station workflow helps reduce downtime while also providing excellent access for accurately positioning oversized textiles, rigid substrates, and transfer media.

Operation is controlled through a clear touchscreen interface that allows the operator to set and monitor transfer time, temperature, and working pressure. Once the cycle is started, the membrane automatically inflates and presses the material against the upper heating surface. At the end of the programmed cycle, the membrane lowers and deflates automatically for unloading.

The XXL membrane series uses high-quality ceramic heating elements designed for fast heating, consistent temperature distribution, and extended service life. Individual heating elements can also be replaced separately when required, simplifying long-term service and maintenance of these industrial machines.

With precisely adjustable membrane pressure and transfer areas up to 180 x 100 cm, the Lotus XXL Membrane Series is particularly well suited for production environments working with advanced textiles, laminated assemblies, electronic components, rigid sublimation media, and other applications where conventional flat-platen pressure may not provide sufficient conformity.

Why Membrane Technology?

A conventional heat press typically applies pressure between two relatively rigid surfaces. This works well when the substrate has a uniform thickness, but it can become challenging when different sections of the product vary in height.

The Lotus membrane system uses a flexible air-inflated surface that can conform around these height differences.
