Pneumatic operation eliminates the need to manually pull the press closed. The pressing cycle is activated using push-button controls, allowing the heating platen to lower and maintain consistent pressure throughout the programmed transfer time. When the cycle is complete, the heating platen automatically lifts, reducing repetitive operator effort and helping create a consistent workflow from one transfer to the next.

The swing-away heating platen can then be moved completely away from the lower platen, providing an unobstructed view of the entire 75 x 50 cm work surface. This makes it easier to load bulky garments, align oversized transfers, and position rigid sublimation substrates accurately before pressing.

A freestanding lower platen allows textiles and garments to be threaded onto the press in a single layer, helping keep seams, additional fabric layers, and previously applied graphics away from the transfer area. This is especially useful when working with sportswear, workwear, large textiles, and other products that can be difficult to position on a conventional fixed-platen press.

Lotus's Mikanit 2.0 heating technology provides fast warm-up and even, stable temperature distribution across the large heating surface. Digital time and temperature controls, programmable settings, production counting, and pre- and post-press functionality help streamline repeat production while maintaining precise transfer parameters.
