The SEFA Clam Init 40cm x 50cm Heat Press is part of SEFA's Initium range, offering the essential features needed for dependable heat transfer production in an accessible, easy-to-use platform. Featuring a full-size 40 x 50 cm (16" x 20") platen, the Clam Init is well suited for decorating T-shirts, hoodies, bags, and a wide variety of textile and rigid substrates.
Its manual clamshell design is paired with a convenient slide-out lower platen, giving operators easier access when positioning garments and transfers while helping keep hands farther away from the heated upper platen. Even heat and pressure distribution across the pressing surface helps provide consistent results for applications including heat transfer vinyl, sublimation, screen print transfers, laser transfers, and other common decorating processes.
The Clam Init features PID temperature regulation for precise and responsive heat control, along with a dual cyclic timer for press and pre-press operations.
