Rather than manually pulling the press closed, the operator activates the pneumatic pressing cycle using two-hand push-button controls. The pneumatic system then closes the press with consistent pressure and automatically opens when the timed cycle is complete. After opening, the upper platen can be manually swung completely away from the lower platen, providing unobstructed access for loading garments, positioning transfers, and working with rigid substrates.
The swing-away design is especially useful for thicker products and rigid materials because the heated platen lifts vertically away from the substrate before being moved to the side. With pressure up to 400 g/cm², a maximum temperature of 220°C / 429°F, and a powerful 2200 W heating system, the e-Rotex Air Lite provides the versatility needed for heat transfer vinyl, textile sublimation, rigid substrate sublimation, laser transfers, screen print transfers, and DTG-related applications.
SEFA's advanced electronic controls include programmable time, temperature, and preheating settings along with 10 customizable recipes, adaptive temperature regulation, Eco Mode, Standby Mode, and dual production counters. Designed and manufactured in France, the e-Rotex Air Lite is an excellent choice for professional decorators who want the access of a swing-away press with the consistency and reduced operator effort of pneumatic operation.
