The SCHULZE Air 2 Press 70cm x 100cm 2-Station Pneumatic Carousel Heat Press is a professional large-format production press designed for sublimation, oversized textiles, towels, floor mats, carpets, curtains, and other applications that require significantly more working area than a conventional apparel heat press. Featuring two oversized 70 x 100 cm workstations, pneumatic operation, touchscreen controls, and semi-automatic carousel movement, the Air 2 Press combines large-format capacity with an efficient dual-station workflow.
The two-station carousel design allows the operator to prepare one textile or substrate while the opposite workstation is being pressed. This alternating workflow reduces downtime between cycles and makes it easier to maintain continuous production when working with large products that require additional time for positioning and alignment.
Once the textile and transfer are positioned, the pressing cycle can be activated using either the touch display or integrated motion sensor / light barrier. The pneumatic heating platen then automatically closes, maintains the programmed pressure and pressing time, and opens when the cycle is complete.
Pneumatic operation provides consistent pressure from one transfer to the next while reducing the repetitive physical effort associated with manually operated large-format presses. Pressure is continuously adjustable up to 6 bar, allowing the machine to accommodate different textiles, transfer materials, and sublimation applications.
Both 70 x 100 cm workstations are equipped with soft foam mats that make the Air 2 Press particularly well suited for sublimation applications. The larger platen area provides ample room for towels, doormats, carpets, curtains, and other oversized products that may not fit on a standard apparel heat press.
An intuitive touch display provides control over temperature, pressing time, transfer programs, memory settings, and separate pre-press and main-press cycles. A built-in transfer counter also helps operators track completed production during larger jobs.
The 2.4 kW Turbo heating platen is engineered for efficient and consistent heating, reaching approximately 165°C in about nine minutes and supporting temperatures up to 220°C. Safety features include a protective frame surrounding the heating platen and a dedicated emergency stop button.
For businesses that outgrow the standard two-station configuration, the Air 2 Press can also be expanded with additional base plates, allowing the production system to be upgraded toward an Air 4 Press configuration.
