The SCHULZE Clam Press Slide 40cm x 50cm Manual Self-Opening Slide-Out Heat Press combines the compact footprint and straightforward operation of a clam-style heat press with the loading convenience of a sliding lower platen. Featuring a professional 40 x 50 cm pressing area, automatic opening, touchscreen controls, and SCHULZE's Quick Release platen system, the Clam Press Slide is built for apparel decorators who want efficient production without moving to a pneumatic or fully electric press.

The machine is manually closed using its ergonomic pressure handle. Once the programmed pressing time is complete, the heating platen automatically opens, helping reduce the risk of over-pressing while eliminating the need for the operator to manually lift the press at the end of every cycle.

As the press opens, the lower platen automatically slides forward, moving the garment and transfer away from beneath the hot heating surface. This provides clear access to the entire workstation for safer unloading, easier transfer alignment, and more comfortable garment positioning. The slider can also be locked in place when a stationary workstation is preferred.

A modern touch display provides control over temperature, pressing time, pre-press settings, Eco Mode, production counting, and the machine's self-diagnosis functions. These controls make it easier to reproduce frequently used transfer settings while providing useful production and machine-status information during daily operation.

The 3.3 kW Turbo heating platen uses two heating zones to provide fast warm-up and even temperature distribution across the full 40 x 50 cm surface. This makes the Clam Press Slide well suited for professional DTF, heat transfer vinyl, screen print transfers, sublimation transfers, and other common apparel decoration processes.

SCHULZE's Quick Release base plate system allows compatible lower platens to be exchanged quickly using a lever beneath the workstation. Interchangeable lower and heating platens expand the press for different garment sizes and specialty transfer applications.
