I use it for caps, sleeve and lable prints - basically anything smaller than the platen. It does a great job!!
I spoke with Jared about this hat press and am very glad I did. He answered all my questions in detail and helped guide me to the perfect heat press for my needs. I explained that I stitch a lot of patches for R112 hats and was concerned about how to press them effectively. We discussed multiple hat presses and he advised me on how to use the heat foam to get a perfect fit for the harder structured trucker caps. It shipped quickly and was received in 3 days. I have the HPN-SIG-1515 which is perfect for me but too large for the backpacks and other smaller items. The additional small platen will be perfect for those items. I bought the 1515 almost 5 years ago thinking I would use this a test to add heat pressing to my embroidery business then upgrade to a more expensive model if needed. But it has worked like a champ for me so far and I do not expect any issues with this one either. Thank you Jared!
