Lotus LTS 470 / 480 / 500 / 500 C Large-Format Semi-Automatic Heat Press Series

The Lotus LTS 470 / 480 / 500 / 500 C Large-Format Semi-Automatic Heat Press Series is designed for professional decorators who need substantially more pressing area for oversized textiles, sublimation graphics, sportswear, workwear, technical textiles, and other large-format applications. Available in three transfer-area formats and an optional slide-out configuration, the series lets you choose the machine that best matches your production requirements.

The LTS 470 provides a 90 x 50 cm transfer area, the wider LTS 480 expands to 120 x 50 cm, and the LTS 500 provides a deeper 100 x 70 cm workspace. The LTS 500 C uses the same 100 x 70 cm transfer area as the LTS 500 but adds an extractable lower platen for easier loading, alignment, and unloading of large textiles and transfers.

All four models use a semi-automatic electromagnetic locking system. The operator manually lowers the heating platen using the smooth-running handle, after which the electromagnet holds the press securely closed and under pressure for the programmed transfer cycle. When the timer reaches zero, the platen automatically unlocks and opens, reducing repetitive operator effort and helping prevent over-pressing.

The large lower platen features a silicone surface with a heat-resistant Nomex® cover, while the heating platen uses a protective Teflon covering. This combination provides a professional work surface for large textile and sublimation applications while helping protect both the press and the materials being decorated.

Lotus's Mikanit 2.0 heating technology provides fast warm-up and even, stable temperature distribution across the oversized heating surface. Individual heating elements can also be serviced separately when required, helping extend the useful life of the heating system.

Digital time and temperature controls provide straightforward adjustment and monitoring throughout production, while continuously adjustable pressure allows the operator to fine-tune the press for different textiles and transfer materials. An automatic Eco Mode activates after 30 minutes of inactivity to place the machine into an energy-saving standby state.
