The Lotus LTS 550 / LTS 560 Pneumatic Heat Press Series is a versatile professional platform designed for apparel decoration, sportswear, workwear, sublimation, technical textiles, lamination, and specialty heat transfer applications. Available in two platen sizes and multiple configurations, the LTS 550 / 560 family allows decorators to choose the combination of working area and technology that best fits their production needs.
The LTS 550 features a 40 x 50 cm pressing area, while the larger LTS 560 provides a 45 x 60 cm pressing area. Both sizes use pneumatic operation to reduce repetitive operator effort and provide consistent pressure from cycle to cycle. At the push of a button, the heating platen lowers and remains under pressure for the programmed transfer time before automatically opening when the cycle is complete.
The standard pneumatic configuration provides a strong all-around solution for everyday heat transfer production. The S configuration adds independently controlled upper and lower heated platens for applications such as rhinestones, heat-sensitive sportswear, lamination, and processes that benefit from heating from both sides. The TS configuration adds Lotus's touchscreen control system for enhanced programming and production tracking.
For challenging garments and substrates, the M configuration uses Lotus's inflatable membrane technology. Instead of relying on a conventional rigid lower platen, the flexible membrane inflates during the pressing cycle to help compensate for variations in surface height. This makes it especially useful around seams, zippers, buttons, pockets, plackets, and other raised garment features where conventional flat pressure can be difficult to maintain.
Across the series, Lotus's Mikanit 2.0 heating technology provides fast warm-up and stable temperature distribution, while individually serviceable heating elements support long-term professional use. Modular lower platens and optional cap attachments further expand the LTS 550 / 560 platform for sleeves, pockets, children's apparel, headwear, and other specialty products.
