This is my first cap press. So far, I've decorated two dad caps with it. The first one didn't turn out so well, but this was due to user error. The second one turned out wonderfully. I used puff HTV on both. These two attempts were my first time working with puff, so I'm pleasantly surprised with the professional results on the second cap.
The only problem I have is that I saw some stray fibers sticking out from the upper platen when I unboxed the press. As I looked closer at the upper platen, I realized that they were evidently part of some type of loose fill insulation. I removed the excess that was sticking out, but I hope I didn't remove too much.
I'm looking forward to working on face masks tomorrow.
