It is nice to have the tiny platen for our Hottronix hat press. I do not like that press, though. It is quite difficult to print trucker hats and with the curvature and style of the platens. Some are impossible. This little platen will make some requests do-able.
Decided to get a different sized platen for my stahl’s hat press I recently bought. The gay press works great. But the platen which cost 80.00 was 50.00 to send out. It was a really small box would have been 15.00 USPS. But I didn’t have a choice was fed ex 2nd day air. Which took a couple of weeks to arrive. The heat press which was 40lbs was a little over 100.00 to ship. So that was the only part of the experience that was disappointing.
